Pernah nggak sih, waktu kita buka aplikasi Google Earth di komputer, nggak ada nama jalan atau bangunan, label tempat umum, atau landmark seperti di Google Maps? Pastinya ini bikin kita susah buat cari lokasi – lokasi yang kita mau, karena kadang – kadang Google Earth cuma nampilin gambar Maps aja tanpa ada tulisan sedikitpun. Di postingan ini kita akan cari tahu gimana cara menambahkan Label pada Google Earth.
Untungnya, ada cara untuk membuat Google Earth bisa menampilkan label seperti Google Maps.
1. Download File Maps Overlay
Caranya gampang, download aja file Maps Overlay di link ini.
2. Jalankan File Maps Overlay
Setelah download selesai, langsung jalankan file tersebut dengan double klik seperti menjalankan program biasa. Kalau ada pertanyaan open with program apa, pilih aplikasi Google Earth.
3. Masukkan ke Bagian My Places
Setelah Google Earth terbuka, seharusnya muncul layer baru di sebelah kiri bernama Map Overlays, di bawah Temporary Places. Sebelum kita gunakan, kita pindahkan dulu ke My Places yang ada di atasnya, sehingga kapanpun kita buka Google Earth di kemudian hari, layer tersebut akan tetap ada.
Klik dan drag layer Map Overlays ke bagian My Places yang ada di atas Temporary Places.
3. Label pada Google Earth Siap Dipakai
Sekarang Google Earth kamu sudah memiliki layer – layer tambahan untuk menampilkan label seperti Google Maps. Kalau kamu mau munculin Mapsnya persis seperti Google Maps, klik Google Maps.
Begitulah cara mengubah Map Google Earth agar jadi seperti Google Maps, sehingga kita bisa lebih mudah mencari tempat – tempat yang ditunjukkan oleh Map.
